"Muk" - helping the Cambodians

This is a heartwarming story about a group of 4 returned missionaries who served in Cambodia, and came back later to help the Cambodian people. They formed a musical group they called "Muk", and are very well-loved by the Cambodians. They also are filming a documentary about some of the poor in Cambodia. I thought this would be a nice change from all the political stuff which can get pretty discouraging sometimes, being a story about good people trying to help others in a selfless way, with unconditional love.

Here is the link to the web site which has a story about them.

Thanks Phil for sharing this inspirational story with your readers! I invite all to read all three Parts of the Interview. Part I is an overview. Part II includes YouTube videos of their live TV performances in Cambodia, and Part III tells more about their documentary work. Latest update: Band Muk is headed back in December for a full tour of Cambodia. - Best Wishes

To Mormon Soprano,
Thanks for posting to our site, and for the updates. I showed my wife Holly your site and the story, and she especially enjoyed it, as she has a particular fondness for the Cambodian people. She had spent a year in Thailand back in 1980, where she was working with the Cambodian refugees and helping them. She made many friendships there. We also listened to the youtube clips of the band - pretty impressive! We're also looking forward to their documentary.
